Purpose of the Role
Antahin Abha Foundation is seeking District Program Managers to lead district-level implementation of its NRich-ECCE program in partnership with government institutions. The role will coordinate closely with DIET, district officials, school leaders, ICDS stakeholders, teachers, and Abha’s field teams to ensure high-quality implementation across selected blocks.
The District Program Manager will manage district-level implementation of NRich-ECCE and serve as Abha’s primary coordination point with DIET, district education officials, school leaders, and field teams, including planning, field execution, teacher training coordination, data tracking, and review meetings.
The candidate should understand the realities of public education systems and must bring strong field leadership, stakeholder coordination, and program management experience, along with a commitment to improving foundational learning for children in low-resource communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NRich-ECCE implementation across assigned district/s.
- Coordinate with DIET leadership, district education officials, ICDS supervisors, school inspectors, and block-level stakeholders.
- Support teacher training planning, school onboarding, TLM distribution, field visit schedules, and review meetings.
- Manage Cluster Leads and Field Facilitators working across blocks.
- Ensure program activities are implemented as per agreed government partnership plan.
- Track teacher training, classroom implementation, AskAbha usage, AbhaConnect data, and child progress indicators.
- Identify implementation bottlenecks and coordinate timely solutions.
- Conduct district-level review meetings and prepare progress updates for Abha leadership and government stakeholders.
- Support data quality, documentation, case studies, and field evidence.
Ideal Profile
- 7–12 years of experience in education program implementation, district-level operations, teacher training, NGO programs, or government education projects.
- Experience working with DIET, district education systems, ICDS, government schools, or teacher capacity-building programs preferred.
- Strong team management and field operations skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and dashboards for tracking progress.
- Strong communication skills in Bengali; working knowledge of English preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned district/s.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
