- Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the overall operations of our veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, Regulatory Compliance, and Dispatch to ensure smooth plant operations and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Supervise and coordinate Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, Schedule M, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Regulatory Affairs team during inspections and audits.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Review production planning and optimize manpower and machine utilization.
- Ensure proper documentation, batch records, and production reports are maintained.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and plant utilities.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with Stores and Purchase for material availability.
- Implement safety, hygiene, and environmental standards within the factory.
- Handle customer, internal, and regulatory audits.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Develop and mentor department heads and factory staff.
- Qualification
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. or an equivalent qualification.
- Additional qualification in Operations or Industrial Management is an added advantage.
- Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or veterinary pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Factory Manager or Plant Manager.
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Maintenance, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, GDP, Schedule M, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience in handling regulatory inspections and audits.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing veterinary pharmaceutical formulations such as injectables, oral liquids, powders, boluses, feed supplements, and topical products.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
- Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role within Quality Assurance.
Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
