Position: Shopify Developer
Location: Kolkata (On-site)

Job Type: Full time

Experience:

We are seeking a Shopify Developer with hands-on experience in full-stack development to design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Liquid, JavaScript, Shopify APIs, and modern front-end frameworks, capable of handling complete end-to-end Shopify store setup and customization.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps (public and private) using Node.js, React.js, and the Shopify API stack.
Build, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Implement, manage, and optimize REST & GraphQL APIs and webhooks for automation and data synchronisation.
Develop and integrate with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, marketing, and payment platforms.
Design and implement headless commerce and custom storefronts using Shopify’s Hydrogen/Oxygen or other frameworks.
Ensure site performance, accessibility, SEO, and conversion optimization.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following modern development practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, UI/UX, and deployment.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills & Experience

3-6 years of professional experience in Shopify development (themes + custom apps).
Design and implement headless commerce and custom storefronts using Shopify’s Hydrogen/Oxygen or other frameworks.
Expert in Shopify Liquid, Shopify CLI, and Polaris / App Bridge frameworks.
Proven track record integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, and payment systems (e.g., SAP, Zoho, Salesforce, Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).

Added Value:

Experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar)
Experience with React.js / Next.js (for app front-end or custom storefronts)
Experience with GraphQL API, REST API, and Webhooks
Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Solid understanding of OAuth, JWT authentication, and secure API handling.

Nice to have:

Experience with TypeScript, serverless functions, or AWS Lambda.
Familiarity with Docker or cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Vercel).
Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures.
Shopify certification or contributions to the Shopify developer community.
