Electrician
Job Summary
An Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The role ensures that all electrical work complies with safety regulations, electrical codes, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, identify faults, and perform corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Install and connect electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and in safe working condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification or diploma in Electrical Installation or a related field.
- Valid electrician license or certification (where required).
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring methods.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.
Working Conditions
- Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments.
- May require lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, or on-call during emergencies.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and hazards immediately.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
