Job Summary
CGC University, Mohali is looking for a talented and creative Content Writer with 3–5 years of experience to create engaging, persuasive, and high-quality content across multiple digital and communication channels. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt content for different audiences while maintaining the university's brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
- · Write email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and student communications.
- · Create SMS and WhatsApp communication for admissions, events, reminders, and engagement.
- · Develop website content including landing pages, course pages, and program descriptions.
- · Write SEO-friendly blogs on education, careers, and industry trends.
- · Prepare technical and academic content, brochures, presentations, reports, and documentation.
- · Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Design, Admissions, and Branding teams.
- · Proofread, edit, and update content to maintain quality and consistency.
- · Research industry trends and competitor content.
- · Support digital marketing, social media, and ORM content requirements.
Required Skills
- · 3–5 years of professional content writing experience.
- · Excellent written English, grammar, and editing skills.
- · Experience in email, SMS, WhatsApp, website, blog, and technical content writing.
- · Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- · Strong research and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the education sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content tools and CMS is an added advantage.
