Core Responsibilities and Duties
Instrument Operation: Run routine and non-routine sample analyses utilizing specialized HPLC and Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC) system.
Sample Preparation: Execute precise extractions, dilutions, filtrations, and chemical cleanup protocols on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Reagent Preparation: Prepare, standardize, and log chemical mobile phases, reference standards, and standard reagents.
Method Execution: Implement validated chromatographic methods to evaluate compound assays, purity levels, content uniformity, and related substances.
Data Interpretation: Process raw chromatographic data, evaluate peak integrations, and carefully interpret generated chromatograms through software like Empower3 or LabSolutions.
System Maintenance: Perform daily operational verifications, system suitability testing, routine calibrations, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
Regulatory Compliance: Document all test procedures and experimental findings in strict alignment with cGMP, cGLP, FDA.
Software Literacy: Proven proficiency utilizing specialized Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).Might be in future
Technical Knowledge: Thorough comprehension of data integrity metrics, column chemistry, Know about RP, SEC,etc., method development either isocratic or gradient and basic UV-Vis Spectrophotometry.
Operational Skills: Superior multi-tasking skills, manual dexterity for precision pipetting, and the ability to work under strict turnaround times.
Assistance: to other works in the laboratory like upstream and downstream.where ever required in his free time.
Job Requirements and Professional Qualifications
Academic Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bio-technology, Pharmacy or a closely related scientific field.
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience handling HPLC instrumentation within a regulated industry (such as Biotech, insulin Molecules, or Peptides. Freshers also applicable.
