Job description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Biomechanics and AI Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team. The role supports the “Skill Intelligence” project, focusing on human movement analysis, skill acquisition, and biomechanical assessment. Candidates should have a strong foundation in biomechanics and an interest in human performance.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Experimentation
Assist in designing, implementing, and analyzing biomechanics experiments on human movement and performance Develop experimental protocols aligned with project goals
Data Collection & Analysis
Use motion capture and biomechanical tools to collect movement data Analyze data using appropriate software and statistical methods to identify insights on skill development Prepare findings for internal discussions and support research publications
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with the research team to achieve project objectives Present findings to team members and stakeholders Contribute to reports and academic papers
Continuous Learning
Stay updated on advancements in biomechanics and related fields Support training of team members on biomechanical techniques
Skills Required
Experience with conducting research or laboratory work related to human movement and biomechanics (preferably through internships or academic projects)
Familiarity with motion analysis and biomechanics software (e.g., MATLAB, Vicon, OpenSim)
Self-driven researcher with a proactive approach to literature review, experimental design, and problem-solving; capable of managing research tasks independently with minimal supervision
Excellent programming skills for data analysis and processing (e.g., MATLAB or Python)
Significant exposure to machine learning techniques or data analysis in a research context
Statistical Analysis Skills with statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS)
Project Management Skills to manage research projects effectively
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in data interpretation
Excellent communication skills in English in both written and oral formats
