Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Backlink Specialist who can improve the search engine rankings of through effective off-page SEO strategies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backlink research, outreach, and link building, with a solid understanding of how to build a clean, authoritative backlink profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and build high-quality, relevant backlinks through guest posting, directory submissions, blog commenting, forum posting, social bookmarking, and other white-hat techniques
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis to identify new link-building opportunities
- Reach out to relevant websites and blogs to secure guest posts and quality link placements
- Monitor and maintain the backlink profile regularly, identifying and disavowing toxic/spam links
- Use SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest) to evaluate backlink quality, domain authority (DA), and page authority (PA)
- Build backlinks while keeping DA/PA, spam score, and relevancy in mind
- Prepare and track monthly backlink performance reports
- Coordinate with the on-page SEO team to support the overall SEO strategy
- Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm changes and link-building best practices
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in off-page SEO and backlink building
- Practical knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and Google Search Console
- Ability to identify high DA/PA, relevant, and authoritative websites for link building
- Good communication skills (for outreach emails and follow-ups)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and target-drivenPreferred Qualifications
- Graduate (any stream)
- Digital Marketing/SEO certification (preferred, not mandatory)
Compensation
Salary will be discussed and finalized based on the candidate's interview performance, experience, and skill set.
