ExtraLearn – A Freelance Educational Marketplace by SiteSign, is seeking highly qualified and passionate Online State PSC Faculty (Freelance) to provide expert coaching and mentorship to aspirants preparing for various State Public Service Commission (PSC) examinations. This is a flexible, work-from-home opportunity for experienced educators, subject experts, and professionals dedicated to helping students achieve success through in-depth subject knowledge, strategic preparation, and exam-oriented guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online State PSC coaching sessions for aspirants preparing for various state-level civil service examinations.
- Teach subjects related to State PSC syllabi, including History, Geography, Indian Polity, Economics, General Science, Environment, Current Affairs, Aptitude, Reasoning, State-specific history and culture, and other relevant topics based on the examination requirements.
- Develop structured lesson plans, study schedules, and personalized preparation strategies according to students’ learning needs and performance levels.
- Explain complex concepts using engaging, analytical, and exam-oriented teaching methods.
- Provide extensive practice through mock tests, assignments, answer writing sessions, case studies, and previous years’ question paper discussions.
- Analyze students’ strengths and areas for improvement and provide personalized mentoring to enhance examination performance.
- Stay updated with changes in State PSC syllabus, examination patterns, current affairs, and effective competitive examination preparation methodologies.
- Create a motivating, disciplined, and student-centered virtual learning environment.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication with students through the ExtraLearn platform.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject, Education, Public Administration, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics, Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong expertise in State PSC syllabus, examination patterns, and subject-specific concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and analytical abilities.
- Proven experience in State PSC coaching, civil services training, competitive examination preparation, or advanced-level teaching will be a significant advantage.
- Ability to explain complex concepts, provide strategic guidance, and mentor aspirants effectively.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, digital whiteboards, presentation tools, mock test platforms, and other educational technologies.
- Knowledge of state-specific subjects, regional history, language, and cultural aspects will be an added advantage.
- Relevant teaching certifications, academic achievements, State PSC examination experience, or professional expertise will be an added advantage.
