Career Guidance & Placement CoordinatorPosition Summary
The Career Guidance & Placement Coordinator is responsible for supporting students in their career exploration, higher education planning, skill development, internships, and employment opportunities. The role involves building industry partnerships, organizing career-related programs, and facilitating successful student placements.
Key ResponsibilitiesCareer Guidance & Counseling
- Provide career guidance and counseling to students based on their interests, strengths, and aspirations.
- Conduct career awareness sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Guide students on higher education opportunities, entrance examinations, scholarships, and career pathways.
- Assist students in preparing career development plans.
Placement & Industry Relations
- Develop and maintain relationships with companies, industries, colleges, and training organizations.
- Identify internship, apprenticeship, and placement opportunities for students.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives and placement activities.
- Act as the primary liaison between employers and the institution.
Student Skill Development
- Organize training programs on employability skills, communication, interview techniques, resume writing, and professional etiquette.
- Conduct mock interviews and career readiness assessments.
- Track student participation and progress in career development activities.
Events & Programs
- Plan and organize career fairs, industry interaction sessions, guest lectures, and networking events.
- Coordinate visits to colleges, universities, and industries.
- Facilitate alumni interactions and mentorship programs.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain records of student placements, internships, and career counseling activities.
- Track placement statistics and prepare periodic reports.
- Maintain employer and industry databases.
- Monitor placement outcomes and student career progression.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Career Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in career counseling, student services, recruitment, training, or placement activities preferred.

Pay: ₹11,458.36 - ₹37,633.16 per month
