Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate WordPress Developer with 1–3 years of experience to build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WooCommerce, with the ability to deliver responsive and high-performance websites.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Build responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Customize WooCommerce stores and payment integrations.
- Optimize website speed, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot website issues and fix bugs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and plugins.
- Work closely with designers and project managers to deliver quality solutions.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Elementor and WooCommerce.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, custom post types, and REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of Git/version control.
- Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of cPanel, hosting, and domain management.
- Familiarity with page speed tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
