About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled PHP Developer with 1–2 years of experience to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using PHP and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Work with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, and optimization.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and other developers to implement web features.
- Perform testing and ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications based on business requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and version control.
- Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and web development practices.
Required Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of MySQL and database concepts.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of MVC architecture.
- Familiarity with any PHP framework such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of responsive web development is an advantage.
Good to Have
- Experience with Laravel.
- Knowledge of AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, or similar frontend technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/server environments.
- Experience with third-party API integrations.
- Understanding of web security and authentication mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
