Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon – Job Description
Location: Jabalpur Hospital & Research Centre (JHRC), Jabalpur
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients requiring surgical treatment.
- Perform laparoscopic and open surgical procedures independently.
- Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care.
- Attend emergency and on-call surgical cases as per duty roster.
- Maintain accurate medical records and operative documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH standards, and patient safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and academic activities.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MS/DNB (General Surgery).
- Fellowship/Training in Laparoscopic Surgery preferred.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General & Laparoscopic Surgery.
- Ability to independently handle elective and emergency surgical cases.
Required Skills
- Expertise in laparoscopic surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
