Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer with a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and hands-on experience in machine manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in machine design, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing, with experience in machines such as straightening machines, rolling machines, bending machines, hydraulic presses, and power presses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop industrial machinery and equipment.
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Review designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and R&D teams during manufacturing and assembly.
- Perform design calculations, material selection, and tolerance analysis.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs and technical documentation.
- Resolve design issues and improve machine performance and reliability.
- Support machine installation and commissioning when required.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in machine manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
- Knowledge of GD&T and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in designing straightening, rolling, bending, hydraulic press, or power press machines is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to heavy machine design and fabrication industries.
- Experience in custom machine design and development environments.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
