Accounts Assistant – Typical Responsibilities
- Recording daily financial transactions in accounting software.
- Preparing and maintaining vouchers, invoices, bills, and receipts.
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciling bank statements and cash books.
- Maintaining ledgers and financial records.
- Processing employee reimbursements and petty cash.
- Assisting in payroll preparation.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Filing financial documents and maintaining records.
- Assisting auditors during internal and external audits.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with software such as TallyPrime, Microsoft Excel, or ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of taxation (GST, TDS, etc., depending on the country).
- Good numerical and organizational skills.
Typical Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Basic accounting certification may be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
