- Drafting and Design: Creating two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) technical drawings, including layouts, piping layouts, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and isometric drawings for fabrication and installation.
- Interpretation: Reading and interpreting engineering documents like Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P & IDs), plot plans, and equipment layouts to accurately translate them into detailed piping drawings.
- Coordination: Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other disciplines (e.g., civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure designs are clash-free and integrate seamlessly with the overall project.
- Documentation: Annotating drawings with critical information, such as bills of materials, dimensions, and weld details, and maintaining comprehensive drawing logs.
- Compliance: Ensuring all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
