Job Summary:
Sky Ocean Shipping is seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, budgeting, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including UAE VAT regulations. This role will play a key part in supporting the company's growth through strategic financial planning and sound decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and UAE VAT requirements, including VAT return preparation and filing.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and cost control.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and strategic business planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, UAE VAT regulations, and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
