We are looking for an experienced SEO & Content Marketing Lead to own Phyllo's organic growth. You will define the SEO strategy, build the content roadmap, and execute initiatives that increase qualified traffic, generate pipeline, and strengthen Phyllo's position in the market.
This role requires someone who can think strategically and execute independently. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Growth, Engineering, and Design to build a scalable content engine that delivers measurable business outcomes.
1. Own SEO Strategy
Own and drive Phyllo's SEO strategy across technical SEO, content, and authority building.
Build quarterly SEO roadmaps based on business priorities and growth opportunities.
Identify high-impact keyword opportunities across the buyer journey.
Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and competitor performance, and adjust strategy accordingly.
Work with Engineering to improve website health, page speed, indexing, and technical SEO.
2. Build and Scale Content
Own the content strategy and editorial calendar across blogs, landing pages, comparison pages, case studies, whitepapers, newsletters, and product documentation.
Create content that educates developers, product teams, and enterprise buyers while supporting business goals.
Refresh and optimize existing content to improve rankings and conversions.
Ensure all content follows SEO best practices and reflects customer needs.
3. Drive Organic Pipeline
Own the performance of organic acquisition and contribute to qualified pipeline generation.
Improve website messaging and landing pages to increase conversions.
Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to create content that supports every stage of the customer journey.
Measure the impact of content on traffic, leads, pipeline, and revenue.
4. Research & Market Intelligence
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
Stay updated on trends across APIs, AI, creator economy, social data, and developer tools.
Identify new opportunities to build topical authority and capture emerging search demand.
5. Lead Cross-functional Execution
Work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to create accurate and valuable content.
Manage freelancers, agencies, and external writers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Collaborate with Design and Growth teams to promote content across multiple channels.
6. Measure and Optimize
Define and track SEO and content KPIs including:
- Organic traffic

- Use analytics to continuously improve content performance and ROI.
- Present regular performance reports along with insights and recommendations.
4 to 7 years of experience in SEO and Content Marketing for B2B SaaS companies.
Proven track record of growing organic traffic and generating qualified pipeline through SEO and content.
Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, internal linking, and on-page optimization.
Experience with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and AI-assisted content tools.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or content teams.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience working with API products, developer tools, data platforms, or AI products.
Experience in the creator economy or social media ecosystem.
Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Familiarity with Reddit, Product Hunt, Hacker News, developer communities, and other organic growth channels.
Experience building topical authority in competitive SaaS markets.
