Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Lecturer is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training in food and beverage operations, service standards, and hospitality management. The role involves preparing lesson plans, conducting practical sessions, mentoring students, and ensuring industry-relevant learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on Food & Beverage Service and Operations.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Train students in restaurant service techniques, table settings, menu planning, and beverage knowledge.
- Supervise practical sessions, workshops, and industrial visits.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Provide guidance and mentoring for students' academic and career development.
- Organize seminars, guest lectures, and hospitality-related events.
- Coordinate internships and industry exposure programs.
- Participate in curriculum development and accreditation activities.
- Perform administrative and departmental duties assigned by the management.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching or industry experience in Food & Beverage operations is preferred.
