The Pouch Filling Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring automated pouch filling machines to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products. The operator ensures adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
- Set up and operate pouch filling machines according to production schedules.
- Monitor the filling process to ensure correct pouch weight, seal integrity, and product consistency.
- Load packaging materials (e.g., film rolls, pouches) into the machine.
- Perform regular quality checks and record results (e.g., weights, seals, lot numbers).
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with the equipment.
- Clean and sanitize machines and surrounding areas in accordance with GMP and hygiene standards.
- Ensure correct labeling and coding on pouches.
- Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.
- Report any product or equipment anomalies to the supervisor.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams as needed.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
