Job Title: Steward
Department: Food & Beverage (F&B)
Reports To: Restaurant Manager.
Job Summary
A Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, restaurant, and service areas. The role includes cleaning utensils, equipment, and dining areas while supporting the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, wash area, and storage rooms.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and garbage as per hygiene standards.
- Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing supplies.
- Support kitchen and service staff during busy hours.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10th Pass (preferred).
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurants is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
