Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per CBSE curriculum using interactive, experiential, and inquiry-based methods to build literacy, numeracy, and life skills. Monitor student progress, maintain records, and foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment while engaging in school activities and parent communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill curriculum requirements
- Teach mathematics to students in grades 6 to 10
- Assess and record students' progress through tests and assignments
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents about students' performance
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions
- Prepare students for standardized tests and competitions
- Provide individualized support and resources to students needing additional help
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent certification
- Experience in teaching secondary school students
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Strong understanding of educational technology and teaching methodologies
