Tender Management
- Search, identify, and evaluate relevant tenders from GeM, e-Procurement portals, CPP Portal, and other government/private procurement platforms.
- Manage the complete tendering process from bid identification to final submission.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within specified timelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect required documents, certifications, quotations, and technical details.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, eligibility criteria, and submission guidelines.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders, bid status, contracts, and renewals.
- Handle GeM Portal operations including:
- Product listing and catalog management
- Bid participation and reverse auctions
- Order processing and fulfillment coordination
- Vendor profile management
- Track tender results and prepare MIS reports on bid success rates and upcoming opportunities.
- Liaise with government departments, procurement agencies, and clients for tender-related queries and clarifications.
- Manage EMD, BG, performance guarantees, and other tender-related documentation.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in government and private sectors.
- Generate leads through outbound calls, emails, and customer visits.
- Promote company products and services to prospective customers.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and tender opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with service, production, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in Tender Management, GeM Portal handling, and B2B Sales.
- Hands-on experience with GeM Portal, CPP Portal, e-tendering, and government procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of bidding procedures, tender documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in technical product or industrial equipment sales will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and online procurement platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and sales opportunities simultaneously.
