Job Title: Hot Press Operator / Supervisor (Plywood Manufacturing)
Location: AMA Laminators Pvt. Ltd., INKEL Green City, Malappuram
Job Summary:
AMA Laminators Pvt. Ltd. is looking for experienced Hot Press Operators / Supervisors to join our plywood manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hot press operations, ensuring quality production, safety, and optimum machine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and supervise hot press machines in the plywood manufacturing process.
- Monitor pressing temperature, pressure, and cycle time as per production requirements.
- Ensure product quality and minimize defects during production.
- Coordinate with glue spreader, lay-up, trimming, and other production teams.
- Monitor machine performance and report any breakdowns or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
- Maintain production records and follow quality and safety procedures.
- Train and guide operators and helpers, if appointed as Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hot press operations in a plywood manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of plywood manufacturing processes and hot press parameters.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic operational issues.
- Strong leadership and team management skills (for Supervisor role).
- Willing to work in shifts.
