Own component lifecycle management for assigned modules, technologies, or product families
Perform deep technical and parametric analysis of electronic, electrical, and electro‑mechanical components
Act as a lifecycle authority, providing recommendations that influence design, sourcing, and redesign decisions
Lead obsolescence management activities, including PCN, PDN, and End of Life (EoL) assessments
Conduct predictive lifecycle risk analysis and define mitigation strategies for High and Medium risk components
Drive early redesign or replacement proposals for components with limited long-term availability
Own and govern Bills of Material (BoMs) from a lifecycle and compliance perspective
Maintain and continuously improve component databases and lifecycle data quality
Use and help shape usage of SiliconExpert, PLM tools, and lifecycle dashboards
Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH SVHC, PFAS, PoP, and other applicable environmental regulations
Provide regulatory impact assessments for component changes and redesign activities
Collaborate proactively with Global Supply Chain on availability constraints, shortages, and long lead time components
Engage with EMS partners and component suppliers to assess risks, alternatives, and mitigation options
Act as a technical interface between R&D and non‑R&D stakeholders on lifecycle topics
Drive process improvements and workflow automation using scripting and analytics (Python, VBA, etc.)
Improve lifecycle transparency, reporting efficiency, and scalability of HLMG activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for PCBAs and lifecycle processes across the portfolio
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
