Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Handling initial inquiries, providing venue tours, and discussing event details such as layouts, menus, and audiovisual (AV) requirements.
- Event Planning: Creating detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) outlining schedules, floor plans, and special requests for internal teams.
- Cross-Department Communication: Acting as the main link between the client and the food & beverage, kitchen, and housekeeping teams to align on expectations.
- On-the-Day Execution: Overseeing the setup of function rooms, managing event timelines, greeting guests, and ensuring customer satisfaction during the event. [1]
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 1–3 years in hospitality, event planning, or food and beverage roles. [1, 2, 3]
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and a high level of organization. [1]
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with banquet services, food safety, and Point-of-Sale (POS) or property management systems (e.g., Opera). [1, 2]
- Physical & Schedule Demands: Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Administrative Tasks: Managing bookings to prevent overlaps, updating calendars, processing billing, and finalizing post-event paperwork. [1]
Pay: ₹15,452.14 - ₹46,969.96 per month
