Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with experience in the Industrial Automation and Robotics industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of control panels, panel wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and final inspection before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify control panel wiring as per electrical drawings and standards.
- Perform quality checks during panel assembly, wiring, and final testing.
- Test PLC-based control panels, MCC, PCC, and automation systems before dispatch.
- Identify and troubleshoot wiring, electrical, and control circuit issues.
- Ensure proper component installation, labeling, and cable routing.
- Conduct continuity, insulation, and functional testing of control panels.
- Maintain quality inspection reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, and Service teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of industrial control panel wiring and electrical circuits.
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting automation control panels.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, GA drawings, and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with PLC, HMI, VFD, Sensors, Relays, and Electrical Components.
- Knowledge of testing instruments such as Multimeter, Megger, and Clamp Meter.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in Quality Control within an Automation or Robotics company.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Control Panel Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or Robotics.
- Knowledge of PLC panel testing and commissioning will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
