Analyst- Energy, Resources, & Industrials - Global Strategic Insights Center-Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited
As an Analyst within the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team focused on Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I), you will deliver high-impact research, analysis, and insights to support strategic decision-making across the ER&I sector. You will collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, and client teams to identify emerging trends, assess market opportunities. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for the ER&I sector, strong analytical capabilities, and a drive to influence business outcomes through data-driven insights.
Work you'll do
As an Analyst, Standardized Strategic Support Services on the Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) team focused on Energy, Resources & Industrials, you will be responsible for delivering research and insights that support Deloitte leaders and client teams.
- Deliver strategic research and analysis on ER&I market trends, competitive activity, innovation, industry disruption, alliances, and ecosystems.
- Apply research tools, financial analysis, and strategic frameworks to develop consultative insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Support research scoping, proposal development, and stakeholder alignment to define project objectives, timelines, and outputs.
- Manage project delivery by prioritizing work, coordinating with global colleagues, and producing high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
- Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and onboarding support for new team members.

Global Strategic Insights Center (GSIC) provides secondary research and analysis services to global Deloitte Member Firms supporting pursuit, business development, practice development, and client engagements. The team uses exclusive sources, specialized research skills, and industry expertise to develop insightful research reports, delivering significant value to customers across Deloitte’s global network. Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST
Qualifications
Required:
- Postgraduate degree from a business school.
- 3+ years of experience in research, strategic insights, or professional services.
- Experience supporting work in at least two Energy, Resources & Industrials subsectors, such as Oil & Gas, Renewables, Low Carbon Solutions, Metals & Mining, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Production, or Construction.
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, including use of financial analysis and strategic frameworks.
- Experience developing reports, presentations, or other written deliverables for senior leadership or client stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ER&I operating structures, business models, value chains, regulations, and key performance indicators.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting client service teams or working directly with senior leadership.
- Experience in research proposal development, scoping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with storyboarding, data visualization, or presentation structuring.
- Exposure to generative artificial intelligence tools and prompt engineering.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members.
