Job Summary
The Telecaller is responsible for generating business opportunities through outbound and inbound calls, engaging with prospective and existing customers, and ensuring timely follow-up to maximise lead conversion. The role requires excellent communication skills, customer relationship management, and the ability to achieve defined sales and calling targets while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Conversion
- Make outbound and inbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into potential business opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the company's products or services.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling, lead generation, and conversion targets.
2. Customer Interaction & Relationship Management
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach during all interactions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and objections confidently and professionally.
- Deliver accurate and relevant product or service information to customers.
3. Lead Follow-Up & Tracking
- Ensure timely follow-up on all customer enquiries and generated leads.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects until closure or completion of the sales cycle.
- Update lead status and interaction history in the CRM or lead management system.
- Ensure no potential lead is missed due to delayed follow-up.
4. Sales Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with the Sales Team to facilitate lead closure.
- Share complete customer requirements and relevant information with the concerned department.
- Schedule customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, or appointments for the sales team whenever required.
- Assist in achieving overall departmental sales objectives.
5. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, customer interactions, and conversion status.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of customer databases.
- Keep CRM data updated and organised.
6. Customer Feedback & Market Insights
- Collect customer feedback regarding products, services, and overall experience.
- Share customer insights, market trends, and competitor information with the management team.
- Identify customer preferences to support business growth and service improvement.
7. Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to company policies, calling scripts, communication standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain high call quality standards and professional etiquette.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of customer information.
- Comply with organisational and regulatory requirements.
8. Performance Improvement & Learning
- Continuously enhance communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Participate actively in training sessions, workshops, and product knowledge programmes.
- Adapt to new technologies, CRM tools, and calling strategies.
- Implement feedback received from supervisors to improve performance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA or Sales-related qualification preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, customer support, or a similar role.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

- Excellent verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and the regional language.

Working Conditions
- Office-based role.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
