Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited as a key contributor within our Mines department, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing mining operations that support our stainless steel production. This position demands a strategic and operational leader who can ensure efficient extraction processes, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and alignment with the company’s sustainability goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization, implement innovative mining techniques, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of mining engineering principles, operational management, and regulatory frameworks specific to the mining and metals industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily mining operations to ensure optimal extraction and processing of raw materials.
- Develop and implement mining strategies that align with production targets and company sustainability objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies within the mining sites.
- Monitor and analyze mining performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvement and cost reduction.

- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality control departments to enhance mining processes and equipment reliability.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement activities related to mining operations.
