Job Summary
Rockwoods International School, Ghatkesar, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Telugu Primary Teacher to teach Telugu to primary-grade students and create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Preference: Candidates residing in and around Ghatkesar / nearby local areas are particularly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Telugu to primary school students.
- Prepare daily lesson plans and engaging classroom activities.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.
- Use creative and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Conduct assessments, worksheets and examinations.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide individual support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and student engagement.
- Maintain student records and assessment reports.
- Coordinate with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Participate in school events, meetings and other academic activities.
- Follow the school's curriculum and academic policies.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telugu or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. / D.Ed. or relevant teacher-training qualification preferred.
- Experience teaching Telugu at the primary-school level is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
- Passion for teaching young learners.

- Strong command of Telugu language and grammar.
- Good pronunciation and communication skills.
- Ability to make Telugu learning interesting and interactive.
- Patient and child-friendly approach.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Salary
Salary will be based on qualification, experience and interview performance.
