Job Description
Experience: 0 to 5 years
Develop control system architecture (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI).Selection and sizing of controllers, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
Create I/O lists, control panel GA drawings, and wiring diagrams.Develop PLC, DCS, and HMI/SCADA programs as per process requirements.
Prepare logic diagrams, cause-and-effect matrix, and control narratives.
Supervise installation of control panels, field instruments, and networking systems.
Loop checking and I/O testing.
Calibration and tuning of transmitters, control valves, and drives.
Commission control systems ensuring process parameters are achieved.Integrate third-party systems (VFDs, robots, vision systems, etc.) with PLC/SCADA.
Optimize control loops to improve stability and efficiency.
Support operators in HMI/SCADA usage and troubleshooting.
Diagnose and rectify PLC/DCS faults, communication errors, and control loop issues.
Perform software backups, version control, and system health checks.
Maintain network integrity (Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus, etc.).PLC logic, SCADA graphics, and control system documentation.
Implement and enforce interlocks, safety instrumented functions (SIFs).Conduct training for operators and maintenance teams on control systems.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Validate automated systems per industry standards and company protocols.
Ensure safety interlocks, emergency stop functions, and risk assessments are properly implemented.
Support electrical design to create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Prepare bill of materials Ensure designs comply with international and local electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, UL, CE, etc.).
Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and instrument supplier.
Prepare and review safety documents such as SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments.
Assist in the root cause analysis (RCA) of recurring faults or failures.
Support the preparation of technical specifications and BOQs.
Maintain a calibration schedule for electrical instruments.
