Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities for office interior fit-out and design-build projects. The role involves identifying prospective corporate clients, engaging with occupiers, developers, IPCs, project management consultants (PMCs), architects, and consultants, understanding client workplace requirements, and converting opportunities into successful fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and generate new business opportunities for office interior fit-out and turnkey design-build projects.
Develop relationships with corporate occupiers, MNCs, GCCs, startups, developers, IPCs, PMCs, architects, and facility management companies.
Build a strong pipeline of office fit-out projects across various commercial micro-markets.
Acquire new clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market outreach.
Client Engagement
Meet prospective clients to understand workplace strategy, expansion plans, relocation requirements, and renovation needs.
Conduct presentations showcasing the company's fit-out capabilities and completed projects.
Collaborate with design and technical teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
Prepare and present commercial proposals, budgets, and project timelines.
Bid & Proposal Management
Coordinate with estimation, procurement, design, and execution teams for proposal preparation.
Participate in RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions.
Negotiate commercial terms and finalize contracts with clients.
Relationship Management
Maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, developers, architects, PMCs, and channel partners.
Develop strategic alliances to generate repeat and referral business.
Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales lifecycle.
Market Intelligence
Monitor office leasing transactions to identify upcoming fit-out opportunities.
Track new commercial developments, corporate expansions, and market trends.
Maintain an updated database of prospective projects and decision-makers.
Sales Reporting
Maintain CRM with lead status and opportunity tracking.
Prepare weekly pipeline reports, sales forecasts, and business development updates.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA (Marketing/Sales) is preferred.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within office interiors, design-build, workplace solutions, commercial real estate, or construction.
Experience handling corporate office fit-out projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
