The International Export Manager in the gloves industry is responsible for expanding global market share and managing the end-to-end supply chain for exported goods. This role bridges the gap between domestic production and international buyers, ensuring that products like nitrile, latex, gloves reach global markets efficiently.
Core Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities in key regions (e.g., EU, USA, Asia) by researching healthcare or industrial trends.
- Compliance Management: Ensure products meet international standards (e.g., CE, FDA, ISO) and strictly adhere to export control laws and customs regulations.
- Documentation & Logistics: Oversee the preparation of critical documents, including:
- Bills of Lading and Certificates of Origin.
- Letters of Credit (LC) and bank negotiation documents.
- Specific health or quality certificates required for medical-grade gloves.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with international distributors, agents, and direct buyers.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to optimize routes, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery.
- Financial Oversight: Manage export pricing strategies, monitor forex fluctuations, and ensure prompt payment realization through secure trade finance instruments.
