The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The teacher will facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative and interactive lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Promote the overall development of children through play-based and activity-based learning.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
- Assess and monitor students' progress and maintain accurate records.
- Encourage good habits, discipline, and social skills among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and development.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and learning resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management for effective academic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori, ECCEd, or equivalent qualification.
