Architect – 5 to 8 Years Experience

Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architect with 5–8 years of experience in architectural design, client coordination, detailing, and project execution. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed architectural drawings, managing client interactions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful project delivery within timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Detailing
Develop architectural concepts, planning layouts, and detailed design solutions.
Prepare schematic drawings, detailed working drawings, GFC drawings, tender drawings, and presentation drawings.
Ensure accuracy in architectural detailing, material specifications, and construction documentation.
Review drawings for quality, coordination, and compliance before issue.
Coordinate with Structural, MEP, HVAC, and external consultants for integrated project delivery.
Support design optimization and value engineering initiatives.
Client Coordination & Management
Act as a key point of contact for clients during project execution.
Understand client requirements and translate them into practical design solutions.
Attend client meetings, design reviews, presentations, and coordination discussions.
Manage client expectations, timelines, approvals, and design changes effectively.
Ensure timely submission of drawings, reports, and project updates to clients.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Project Execution & Site Coordination
Conduct site visits and resolve design or execution-related issues.
Coordinate with project teams and vendors for smooth execution.
Ensure compliance with local building by-laws, NBC standards, and project specifications.
Monitor project progress with respect to design deliverables and deadlines.
Mentor junior architects and drafting team members where required.
Required Skills

Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
COA Registration preferred
Experience
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in architectural design, detailing, client coordination, and project execution.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in multidisciplinary consultancy environment preferred.
Strong ownership mindset and decision-making capability.
Ability to independently manage clients and projects.
Professional, proactive, and solution-oriented approach.
