We are looking for a dynamic Trading Professional with deep expertise in the PP (Polypropylene) and PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) recycling market. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in sourcing plastic scrap (Purchase) and selling recycled flakes/granules (Sales). You must have an existing network of vendors and a thorough understanding of the scrap value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing (Purchase): Identify and procure high-quality PP/PET scrap and flakes from local mandis, aggregators, and scrap vendors at competitive rates.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and onboard new buyers, including plastic product manufacturers, textile units (for PET), and FMCG packaging firms.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain a robust database of authentic scrap vendors and recyclers across India.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on daily price fluctuations for PP Dana and PET Flakes.
- Logistics & EPR: Coordinate with logistics partners for timely material movement and ensure all EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) documentation is in order.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of different plastic grades (PP, PET, HDPE, LDPE) and the difference between hot-washed vs. cold-washed flakes.
- Trading Network: Established contacts in major plastic .
- Negotiation: Sharp negotiation skills to manage margins in a volatile market.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi .
