Role Overview
As HR Manager at Seekhobecho, you will be the cornerstone of our people operations. You will champion a high-performance culture, drive talent acquisition, manage employee lifecycle processes and ensure a workplace where every team member thrives. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who blends strategic thinking with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment - sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding top talent across all functions.
- Design and implement HR policies, employee handbooks and standard operating procedures aligned with Indian labor laws.
- Own performance management cycles - goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, culture programs and team-building activities.
- Manage payroll coordination, compensation benchmarking and benefits administration.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, grievances and disciplinary processes sensitively and professionally.
- Partner with department heads to identify workforce planning needs and develop people strategies.
- Track and analyze HR metrics (attrition, engagement scores, time-to-hire) and present insights to leadership.
- Ensure legal compliance with all employment regulations and statutory requirements.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup or tech/EdTech environment.
- Solid knowledge of Indian labor law, PF, ESI, gratuity and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition across tech and non-tech roles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
- Strong data orientation — comfortable using metrics to drive HR decisions.
- Exceptional communication, empathy and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter who can thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent is a plus.
