Nimble Modular is looking for an experienced Modular Production Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the day-to-day production of modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage units, and other modular furniture. The candidate will be responsible for managing production activities, manpower, materials, quality, timelines, and coordination with the design, purchase, stores, and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities for modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, and other modular furniture.
- Plan and allocate production work to carpenters, machine operators, and other production workers.
- Ensure production is carried out according to approved designs, drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Coordinate with the design team regarding drawings, dimensions, materials, and production requirements.
- Check the availability of boards, hardware, accessories, laminates, and other production materials.
- Coordinate with the stores and purchase teams for timely availability of required materials.
- Monitor the cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly, finishing, and packing processes.
- Ensure accurate dimensions and proper finishing of all modular units.
- Conduct quality checks at different stages of production and minimize rework and material wastage.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed within the committed timelines.
- Coordinate with the installation/site team for dispatch and installation requirements.
- Inspect finished products before dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain daily production records, job cards, material consumption, and production status reports.
- Monitor worker attendance, productivity, discipline, and performance.
- Train and guide production workers on proper working methods and quality standards.
- Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are used properly and maintained in good working condition.
- Identify production issues and coordinate with the concerned departments for quick resolution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices are maintained in the production area.
- Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Furniture Making, Carpentry, Mechanical, Production, Interior, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in modular furniture, modular kitchen, furniture manufacturing, or related production.
- Strong practical knowledge of modular kitchen and furniture production processes.
- Good knowledge of boards such as plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board, laminates, and modular furniture hardware.
- Knowledge of cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly, and finishing processes.
- Ability to read and understand production drawings and measurements.
- Experience in handling carpenters, machine operators, and production workers.
- Good manpower planning and production coordination skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
