We are looking for a motivated PCB Design Engineer with hands-on experience in multilayer PCB design and basic exposure to RF and wireless communication hardware. The ideal candidate should have experience working with microcontroller-based designs, communication modules, RF layout fundamentals, and EMI/EMC-aware PCB design practices. This role is focused primarily on PCB design and hardware development for wireless and embedded communication systems.
- Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts using KiCad and Altium Designer.
- Work on STM32-based controller board designs and embedded hardware systems.
- Design multilayer PCBs (up to 4 layers) with proper grounding, stack-up, thermal management, and routing practices.
- Support development of communication hardware involving Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, telemetry, and RF modules.
- Perform impedance-controlled routing and follow RF PCB layout best practices.
- Work with RF-related components such as LNAs, filters, antennas, matching circuits, and RF connectors.
- Implement EMI/EMC design techniques including filtering, shielding, and grounding optimization.
- Create and maintain custom PCB footprints and component libraries.
- Generate Gerber files, BOM, fabrication drawings, pick-and-place files, and assembly documentation.
- Perform DFM checks and coordinate with PCB fabrication vendors.
- Develop and assemble hardware prototypes for testing and validation.
- Support PCB bring-up, debugging, testing, and hardware validation activities.
- Assist in SMD soldering, rework, and prototype modifications whenever required.
- Assist in UAV integration, wiring, and system-level testing whenever needed.
- Prepare hardware documentation, reports, and revision records.
- Coordinate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams during product development.
- 1–3 years of experience in PCB design and hardware development.
- Hands-on experience with KiCad and Altium Designer.
- Experience designing STM32-based controller boards and embedded hardware.
- Strong understanding of PCB design fundamentals and multilayer PCB layout practices.
- Basic understanding of RF and wireless hardware design concepts.
- Knowledge of impedance matching, RF grounding, shielding, and signal integrity basics.
- Familiarity with communication modules such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, or telemetry systems.
- Basic knowledge of EMI/EMC concepts and PCB noise reduction techniques.
- Hands-on experience in SMD soldering and rework.
- Experience working with packages such as UDFN, MSOP, QFN, and other fine-pitch SMD components.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and basic RF testing equipment.
- Experience in footprint creation, Gerber generation, and DFM processes.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Basic experience with RF front-end components including LNAs, filters, antennas, or matching networks (preferred).
- Exposure to UAV systems, embedded wireless products, or IoT-based products (preferred).
- Familiarity with IPC standards and RF PCB layout guidelines (preferred).
- Experience in PCB bring-up and prototype testing (preferred).
- Basic understanding of interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or Ethernet (preferred).
