We are in search of a semi qualified, experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to complete book keeping, VAT and year end accounts for SME clients located in the UK and Middle East. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Book keeping: Complete daily and monthly book keeping entries for clients on accounting software / platform.
- VAT Returns: Prepare VAT returns as per the regulatory requirements in the client's jurisdiction.
- Year end accounts: Complete year end accounts for the client and submit to Seniors for their review.
- General Assistance: Provide general assistance and support to the team in completing the activities.
Job Requirements
- Efficient Organization: Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite for managing global financial data.
- GAAP Knowledge: Preference given to candidates with in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Language proficiency: Ability to fluently communicate in English with clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in book keeping, VAT returns & year end accounts finalisation for clients (mandatory)
- Education: ACCA / CMA US / CA semi qualified (mandatory)
- Software Proficiency: Experience using cloud or web based ERP/Accounting software systems.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
