A Senior Engineer in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team acts as a catalyst for operational excellence, leveraging digitalization, process optimization, and structured governance to deliver sustainable growth and world-class manufacturing performance targeting focus plants. This role drives flawless industrialization and stabilization of production for Engineer-to-order (ETO) electrical assemblies (switchboards, LV / MV Switchgears, Bussways). Additionally, the engineer leads setup, validation, and stabilization of production lines (PTR/PPAP), orchestrates cross-functional execution on the shop floor, supports embedding of MES/ERP/SIOP systems, and standardizes work to lift Hi5 metrics (CONC, OTD, DOH, Flex Productivity, TRCR). In parallel, the role leads reindustrialization of existing plants— Defining activity flow matrix, reconfiguring layouts, modernizing equipment, tightening routings and materials flow—and creates governance for scalability across the enterprise.
"• Industrialization & Shop-Floor Execution: Design and validate process flows, Standard work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and testers; manage procurement, installation, debug, run-off, and handover. Integrate new lines into plant layouts and MES/SCADA dashboards; execute PTR/PPAP sign-off and stabilize production during product life-cycle - With specific focus on short-cycled Engineer-to-order large electrical assemblies
- Reindustrialization: Deploy work instructions, optimize existing plants using simulation, VSM, MTM/MOST; re-layout lines; support retrofit automation; enforce BOM/routing hygiene; improve material flow and inventory control.
- ETO Electrical Assemblies Focus: Rapidly resolve data and execution blockers for high-mix, low-volume builds; ensure PoU completeness, routing standardization, and trial parts readiness; maintain dashboards for capacity and constraints.
- Digital Backbone & Planning: Standard tools for Industrialization activities such as work instructions authoring, process flows development, Mechanical and Electrical wiring routines and guidance, deploy MES/ERP/SIOP integration; enable real-time KPI dashboards; implement traceability and SPC; connect quality and planning systems for schedule stability.
- Hi5 Metrics & CI: Build visual factory and KPI cascades; run Gemba, A3, DMAIC/DFSS; publish quantified improvements in CONC, OTD, DOH, Flex Productivity, TRCR.
- Governance for Scalability: Author templates, checklists, PTR/PPAP kits, and replication playbooks; establish PMO cadence, RASI matrices, and acceptance criteria; package replication kits with code/configuration, drawings, and training assets; audit deployments and track adherence."
