Nirman Academy, Calicut is looking for a highly skilled and passionate Software Faculty to train students in architectural and interior design software. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge, teaching ability, and an industry-oriented approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theory-based training in design and visualization software
- Train students in the following software tools:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3Ds Max
- Revit Architecture
- Lumion
- Corona Renderer (or V-Ray – added advantage)
- Guide students in:
- 2D drafting & documentation
- 3D modeling & visualization
- Rendering, walkthroughs & presentation techniques
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, exercises, and real-time project demonstrations
- Support students in portfolio development and professional presentation skills
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and software advancements
- Coordinate with academic and design teams for curriculum execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree / Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering / Related Field
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching or industry experience (Freshers with strong software skills can also apply)
- Strong command over architectural & interior design software
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and practically
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and student development
Preferred Candidates
- Candidates from Calicut, Malappuram, Wayanad & nearby areas
- Teaching experience in design institutes or colleges
- Industry experience with live projects
- Ability to handle both beginners and advanced learners
