About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to manage the company's payable processes, vendor reconciliations, and payment transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience in accounts payable functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, debit notes, and credit notes accurately and timely.
- Ensure proper accounting and recording of all purchase-related transactions.
- Prepare vendor payment schedules and coordinate timely payments.
- Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain records of invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Verify GST compliance and ensure proper input tax credit documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, and other departments for invoice verification and approvals.
- Monitor outstanding payables and prepare ageing reports.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Support statutory, internal, and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare MIS reports related to payables, vendor balances, and payment status as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and vendor reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Busy, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, trading, or distribution industry.
- Knowledge of payment processing and banking transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic MIS reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
