Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our footwear or kids retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, delivering excellent customer service, managing store staff, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive store sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor daily store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation in line with brand guidelines.
- Manage stock availability, replenishment, stock audits, and minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate store staff to improve performance and productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, health & safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
- Coordinate with regional managers and support functions to improve store performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–8 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a Store Manager role.
- Experience in Footwear, Kids Retail, Apparel, Fashion, or Lifestyle retail is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Good understanding of retail KPIs, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency in POS systems, MS Excel, and retail management software.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
