About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiasƟc AI RoboƟcs Research Intern – LLM/VLA for RoboƟcs to work at the intersecƟon of roboƟcs, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Physical AI, with a focus on improving roboƟc percepƟon, manipulaƟon, and autonomous roboƟcs workflows.
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to research and experimentaƟon with AI driven roboƟc systems, helping build intelligent roboƟc soluƟons capable of reasoning, percepƟon, and autonomous decision-making.You will work closely with AI, roboƟcs, and engineering teams to evaluate emerging technologies and prototype soluƟons to advance roboƟcs intelligence.
Key ResponsibiliƟes
AI Research & Model EvaluaƟon
Benchmark LLMS and Vision-Language models for roboƟcs percepƟon and
manipulaƟon tasks.
Evaluate AI models for scene understanding, object recogniƟon, reasoning, and
roboƟc decision-making.

Analyse model performance across roboƟcs workflows and experimental
environments.
Conduct comparaƟve evaluaƟons to idenƟfy opportuniƟes for improvement.
RoboƟcs AI Development
Build and support ROS2-based experimental AI pipelines.
Assist in developing prototypes that integrate AI models with roboƟcs workflows.
Explore Physical AI concepts to enhance roboƟc autonomy and intelligence.
Contribute to experiments involving percepƟon systems and robot reasoning.
Research & DocumentaƟon
Read, analyse, and implement concepts from research papers and technical
literature.
Document experimental findings, comparaƟve analyses, and R&D observaƟons.
Prepare technical reports and maintain research documentaƟon.
Present insights and recommendaƟons to engineering stakeholders.
Required Skills & QualificaƟons
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in:
o Computer Science
o ArƟficial Intelligence
o RoboƟcs
o Electronics & CommunicaƟon
o Mechatronics
o Data Science
o Embedded Systems
o Or related disciplines
Strong interest in GeneraƟve AI and RoboƟcs.
Familiarity with Python programming.
Basic understanding of Computer Vision and Machine Learning concepts.

Exposure to ROS/ROS2 or to roboƟcs frameworks is preferred.
Strong analyƟcal thinking and an experimentaƟon mindset.
Comfortable working with research papers and implemenƟng technical ideas.
Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on soluƟons.
Good documentaƟon and communicaƟon skills.
