The Business Development Executive is responsible for merchant acquisition, field sales, relationship management, and promoting PhonePe payment solutions to retailers and businesses.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and onboard new merchants/businesses to the PhonePe platform Promote PhonePe products such as: QR Codes Soundbox / SmartSpeaker POS / EDC machines Visit shops and business locations for lead generation and sales Build and maintain strong merchant relationships Educate merchants about digital payment solutions Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets Handle merchant onboarding and KYC documentation Provide post-sales support and resolve merchant issues Monitor competitor activities in the market Maintain sales reports and activity records
Required Skills Good communication and negotiation skills Sales and field marketing ability Relationship management Target-oriented mindset Basic knowledge of digital payments/fintech Lead generation and customer handling skills
Eligibility Any graduate (sometimes 12th pass accepted for field roles) Freshers or experienced candidates depending on location Experience in sales/business development is preferred Must own: Bike Android smartphone
