About the Role
Shri Balaji Global is expanding its international rice export business and is looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager – Rice Export Trading to drive global sales and market expansion.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on international rice export/trading experience, particularly in Thai Rice, Vietnamese Rice and Non-Basmati Rice, along with a strong network of overseas buyers/importers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end international sales of Thai, Vietnamese and Non-Basmati Rice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with overseas buyers, importers and trading partners.
- Identify new international markets and business opportunities.
- Manage pricing, negotiations and international commercial terms.
- Monitor global rice prices, market trends and competitor activities.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and Finance teams for smooth order execution.
- Participate in international trade fairs, buyer meetings and business development activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in international rice export/trading is mandatory.
- Experience with Thai, Vietnamese and/or Non-Basmati Rice preferred.
- Strong existing network of international buyers/importers.
- Excellent sales, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of LC, shipping, export documentation and international trade practices.
- Strong target orientation and commercial acumen.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business development.
No bar for the right candidate — relevant experience and capability will be given priority over a fixed number of years.
