Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Scraper Intern who is interested in data collection, web research, and data management. The intern will be responsible for collecting relevant information from websites and online sources, organizing the data, maintaining accuracy, and updating databases or Excel sheets.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented, comfortable working with computers, and interested in learning data scraping and research techniques.
Key Responsibilities1. Data Scraping & Collection
- Collect data from websites and online platforms as per assigned requirements.
- Extract relevant information such as company names, contact details, websites, addresses, product/service information, and other required data.
- Perform web research using search engines and online sources.
- Follow the given data collection criteria and instructions.
2. Data Entry & Management
- Enter collected data accurately into Excel, Google Sheets, CRM, or internal databases.
- Organize and categorize data according to the required format.
- Regularly update and maintain existing databases.
- Identify and remove duplicate or irrelevant records.
3. Data Verification
- Verify collected information for accuracy and completeness.
- Cross-check important information from reliable online sources.
- Identify incorrect, outdated, or missing information.
- Maintain high data accuracy and quality.
4. Research Support
- Conduct online research to identify potential companies, customers, businesses, or other required information.
- Prepare data lists based on specific criteria provided by the team.
- Support the Data Scraping/Research team with daily assignments.
5. Reporting & Team Coordination
- Complete assigned daily and weekly data targets.
- Maintain daily work updates and reports.
- Coordinate with the reporting manager/team leader regarding assigned tasks.
- Inform the team about any challenges or issues faced during data collection.
Required Knowledge
Basic knowledge of the following will be an advantage:
- Web Research
- Data Collection
- Data Entry
- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Internet & Search Engines
- Basic understanding of websites and online databases
- Basic knowledge of data scraping tools will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
