Assistant Manager / Manager – Internal Audit
Location: Pune | Travel: Willingness to travel across India as required
Role Overview
Lead end-to-end internal audit and consulting assignments with focus on Manufacturing, Hospitality & Real Estate, including risk assessment, audit execution, team supervision, reporting and closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk-based & process-based internal audits.
- Lead factory/plant and multi-location audits.
- Supervise audit teams and review working papers.
- Conduct discussions with Plant Heads, HODs and management.
- Prepare concise audit reports and track action-plan closure.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
- Travel to plants/site locations as per business requirements.
Requirements
- Qualification: CA / CMA
- Experience: 2–3 years (Assistant Manager) / 3–5 years (Manager)
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing / plant audits is mandatory.
- Multi-location & factory audit exposure required.
- Good knowledge of Internal Controls, COSO, Ind AS/Indian GAAP and Companies Act, 2013 (including IFC).
- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.
- Team handling experience of 3–4 members.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
- High ownership, professional skepticism and ability to manage 2+ assignments simultaneously.
